AK Steel announced today that DACOR®, a leader in high-end kitchen appliance design, manufacturing and distribution, is donating kitchen appliances equipped with AgIONÔ antimicrobial-coated stainless steel for use in the 11,000 square-foot AK Steel Concept Home. This donation includes 30” and 24” Epicure™ dishwashers, two Epicure ranges, and a 52” outdoor grill. Dacor also is supplying a standard 30” Millennia™ range and microwave for the guesthouse. The AK Steel Concept Home, located in Simi Valley, California, is a project demonstrating the benefits of antimicrobial-coated products, and steel construction.
